Brooklyn Bridge

September 12th of 2011, I took a great walk across the Brooklyn bridge starting from Manhattan into Brooklyn. After a wrong turn or two, I finally found this famous viewpoint at around 2 p.m.

Wanting to take photographs of this magnificent looking and built structure, I realized that the sun was too high and bright for a good shot.

Since this viewpoint is set in a grass park setting, I decided to relax and wait.

At approximately 5 p.m. the winds were pushing a set of clouds towards one of the bridge’s columns and towards the front of the sun.

Having just seconds to hopefully capture this moment…. & then it was time……. click!

What a great afternoon… Siesta on the lawn, tea, and talking with native New Yorkers at this awe-inspiring park setting/viewpoint in Brooklyn.
